    This is very important to me personally. I know a breeder or three who used to be very active in the community, but the bigger they got, the less you saw of them. Not necessarily because they got too busy, but because they felt they no longer needed to interact with the little people.

    Happily, most breeders don’t feel that way. We have several outstanding breeders both large and small who are active members of both BP.net and the community at large.

    When considering a new addition to my collection, I keep in mind who got too big to play in the sandbox and who still takes turns pushing the swings....
