I thought satin was a lot longer that what you pictured. All my rats look like your longer haired one. Their fur isn't as short as your short haired one, but mine are not satin rats. From your pictures, I don't really see satin. Maybe they're too young to tell. Do you have an adult from your long hair line to look at?
I've bred satin mice in the past. And their fur was really long and poofy. It's like comparing a Persian cat to a domestic short haired cat when looking at those mice. It was a pretty dramatic difference.
