Very beautiful snake by the way. Absolutely love his blushing!

Ian (Outback Reptiles) does a lot of importing and dealing, so this is likely where any bad things may come into play.
All 3 of my purchases have been in person at either Hamburg or Harve de Grace, so I saw the snake before I bought them. But all 3 are perfectly health and I will definitely buy from him again.
Some people don't like him because he buys low and sells lower. But I got great deals!
How did the albino pins look to you? The snakes all look great picture wise to me but I am just asking about their reputation due to dealing with the het albino.

When doing your research on Outback Reptiles, I urge you to pay close attention to the timeframe when the negative reporting was made, and the names of the individuals involved. Outback has been through some rough patches, but I feel confident that if you look closely at all the feedback, you'll be able to make an informed decision.
I have recently purchased from Josh at Outback, and would do so again.
I noticed when looking at some of the negative posts that they were in the past. I haven't found anything more recent which is why I decided to ask in this thread . Concerning a good example of the morph. How would the pinstripe that I linked fare? And does anyone know what a fair price for a female pin het albino is at current market value?

I think the Pinstripe Het Albino girl in the ad is a good looking snake. She has a nice dorsal stripe, and if anything, is just a shade dark, but that could just be the lighting. The asking price looks like it's in the ball park.

They had not even eaten yet, so they were very small. They looked amazing, as all hatchings do though. They were very bright, the snake I held was healthy looking and active.
I would have bought the female (for a $1000 at that time since she had not eaten yet, plus shows are always cheaper and negotiable), but I bought my Silver Bullet from him instead.
My ultimate goal is an Albino Clown Pied.

Thanks . Just sent an email asking for some more pictures. Terms of sale, etc. Hopefully with more pictures she proves to be a little lighter.

How much cheaper are snakes generally at shows? I have not been to any yet but am planning on heading down to the San Jose show in July, and then the closer show in Sacramento for me which will be in September.

You will save shipping, and might be able to haggle a little over the asking price.

Darn shipping...and haggling is always fun :p. That female pin sold. Time to be on the lookout .

1) Awesome project you have going on. I have a albino pin project in the works as well. They are lovely looking animals.
2) I've heard really good things about Outback Reptiles. All the bad rap seems to be from the past. And Outback has made good contributions to Ball Python morph development. They produced the first and only Panda Pied to date.
3) From my experience of past shows here in Norcal, the vendors generally give pretty good deals. I got a female pastel for $100 at the last Sacramento show from Heather Wong. I saved at least $100-$150 total between general normal retail pastel female price(~$150-200) + shipping($50). And my friends who own a reptile shop in Lodi always have good deals on their animals during shows.
