    Female laying eggs without breeding?

My female Ball laid 5 eggs last year. I think she is going to lay them again. i have another female who is the same age who has never laid eggs. Is it normal for balls to lay eggs without "breeding". They weren't fertile and I really don't want babies around...but why isnt the other girl also laying eggs

It's not common, they'll usually resorb the folicles if they haven't been bred. However I have had it happen to me before too.

As long as she seems healthy in every other way, why not?

Are you sure she's going to lay? Or is she just developing folicles?

Yikes, good question. I didn't even think of that... Are you sure they're both female?

Maybe you've got the only hybrid chicken-ball. At least you could start frying and scrabbling her eggs....

    This X2!
I don't know if you got another setup and got them seperated, but it looks like you used to have them in the same enclosure together.

If they are still together most likely you have a 1.1 pair and not 2 females.
