Anyone else see the solar eclipse?
It was a neat thing to see, only saw a partial eclipse up here in MN but it was still interesting and I got some use out of my old welding mask.

Sorry about that. I didn't see it on the news either. I've got an APP on my iphone called Live Moon that notifies me of stuff like that. (full moon, lunar eclipse, solar ecplise, etc. )

LOL, I've been working the graveyard shift for the last couple of years now. I try to keep up on astonomical stuff since I'm up anyway.
I'm actually going to be changing my hours for the summer so I'll be working a day shift. It'll be wierd pretending to be a normal person again.

I hear you there! Night shifts are great for astronomical interests. I watched the International Space Station cross the sky last year when it came close to earth. I wen't up to the roof of the hospital 20 stories high LOL and watched it. It was pretty cool.

Yeah I saw it too here in Northern California. It was perfect.
It was a little eerie. Everything around was still bright, but seemed muted if you get what I mean. All the colors and stuff were duller?
