Bath time?

I've read on here that people give their bp's baths after an incomplete shed to help get the stuck bits off, but was wondering if this is something that I should do even in between sheds. First time owner so wasn't sure, but if it's something that bp's enjoy then I'd like to know.

Nope, it can actually make a shed worse if you bath it before. Just make sure the humidity is between 70-80% when you notice signs of shedding. But if it is a bad shed, it does help then to give it a bath in luke warm water. But just bump up the humidity and you will have no worries

As Trackstrong said, bathing them too often can leech out the essential oils they naturally produce. These oils help them separate the old skin so it can slough off.

giving BP's baths should not be thought f as a preventative measure, but rather a tool that can be used in certain situations where the good outweighs the bad.
