How do you hate Remington but like the .35? Remington invented the round and the rifle and it wasn't til 40 years later that Marlin started making them. And those are the only 2 big names that really make .35.

Either way, it's what I started with.
Oh baby i rmbr Medal of Honor: Rising Sun i was unbeatable with the mosin nagant. I popped a scope on that baby and took the Viet Cong out like it was my day job lol.

I guess i just never realized it was an actual gun. In real life im probably not quite as good of a shot lmao!

I do quite a bit of deer hunting. My two boys and I use Remington 700s. I have many firearms from which to choose, but I always pick the Remington 700 with synthetic stock. It works flawlessly. I can pick off a gnat at 100 yards. I think I got it used for $300 bucks. I don't care if it gets scratched up or wet. It's basically bulletproof. I've retired many many deer with it. I prefer .270 as is shoot a very flat trajectory. My sons have the same in .308. I do like the short action of the .308..you can't go wrong with either. Good luck this season!

I'd take Marlin hands down. I own the 336 version of the 30-30 and my father has owned the 35 for 36 years I've known about it. Both have been trouble free.
