We've attended the show the last few years. I will say that since the depression started, (oops I mean recession, wink wink, nudge nudge) there has been a decline in the number of vendors and such, but still the best place to see a great variety of animals, and get a chance for some face time with very knowledgable people. Like others have said there is no difference from Saturday to Sunday except that the longer the show goes, the selection diminishes as people are buying. It can't be more than a 50 minute ride from McDonough so you wouldn't need a hotel regardless.
The only thing I have seen that is not priced better is the Frozen rats. I think that they actually bump there price per rat up a little bit. But they have to cover their costs for the space at the show and it is still way better a deal than having to pay for shipping. That being said, Mice Direct is in Cleveland Georgia which is less than a two hour drive from McDonough. Cleveland is also just a couple miles from Helen, GA which is a very cool place to spend a day. Kids can go tubing down the river there, the woman can shop, plus there are good restaurants.
