What kind of boa is this?
Ive posted this before but couldnt get a clear answer while he was in shed so here goes again. What is this. Thought it was redtail or some other bci. But im not too sure. And if you remember the original thread, heres an update: im still terrified of this little guy. He follows my every move in strike position! Thanks

Sorry i posted it in the wrong place. If possible can a mod move it? Please feel free to still answer the question. Thanks

It does look like a bci. Mine follows my movements to, but he's just curious, watching, wanting to crawl all over. He has never struck.

Definitely BCI. Possibly Nicarauguan locale.

I agree with everyone else about it being a BCI. It will be more difficult to guess the locality. Sometimes, the only way to do that is to track down the breeder.
Don't be intimidated by your little boa. They are not shy like BPs are. If it makes you nervous, you can always hook train it...

May be a locale, but definitely BCI of some sort. Also, don't be afraid! He's just nervous or inquisitive more than likely. But even if he does nip you, I promise it doesn't hurt that bad. One of my girls nippe me by accident on feeding day when I was dropping a rat in with her and I didn't even know she got me until I saw the blood.

It's a BCI for sure. They all tend to coil up and I've been nipped twice by my full grown male Hog Island boa. It just feels like some pinpricks. No big deal. Some larger pics would help with maybe guessing the locale.

That's definitely a BCI, and I'd put money on it having at least some Nicaraguan blood in it. They have a bit of a different look from other BCI's, in that they have sort of tighter saddles and a more peppered melanistic sort of look. And they're meanies but don't let the little one intimidate you, if you work on him he'll tame down.
