Does Your Ball Do This..?
I know Balls are nocturnal, just curious if anyone had one that comes out of hide during the day?
Thanks

They do from time to time.
Excessive activity during the day can be a sign of stress.

+1. Mine also will roam around if I disturb them to change water to clean a mess or something. Once I put them back most of them will roam around all frazzled for a time lol.

Just got mine (5/11) and he never has been seen out before dark. Just curious.

Could he be getting ready to shed? You could also check for mites, but if he's not in his water dish, that's probably not the cause.
I very rarely see mine out of the hide when the sun is up...unless there's a rat in the tub, then I see them everytime

That's a good sign. It's not insanely abnormal to see them out during the day sometimes, but it's much more common (and better) that they stay in the hide.

Mine is most active at night, however I brought home a feeder rat in the daylight and she came shooting out of her hide to eat. I didn't even know she was awake ( in the daylight) till this happened.
