not all females breeding cycles are from oct to april. and some can change from year to year. I have a few females right now that I'm hoping they are starting their breeding cycles. ( follicle growth from 5mm, now close to 10mm using an ultrasound )
or, not all females breed at or around 1500 grams.
I don't think anything is a matter with your female. just timing ( her not being ready or the wrong time of the year) keep placing the male with her and good luck
