No its not at all a way to say "bugger off newbies" lol
He means only commit if youre gunna actually play. Ive played in leagues where ppl never change their teams up at all. If you dont follow whats happening in football then dont bother playing fantasy bc itll ruin it for others. If the whole Jets D-line eats bad sushi the nite before a game and wont be playing due to food poisoning then you should probably not play them as your starting D that week lol. Or if Eli manning has his spine broken and will miss the rest of the season then keeping him as your starting QB for the next 15 weeks is not cool.
Just silly stuff like that, if you can commit to sorta following whats going on in the NFL an try and adjust your team accordingly then by all means play!!! . I havent played in the bp.net league before but it should be lots of fun
