nope, my S2 sat on the shelf with a $650 tag on it. I use my phone more than my TV, laptop, and DSLR. And a $700 price tag is a mere fraction of the price of all of those, it makes sense to me to invest on what I use most.

I shopped around and found it with renewal contract for $100 at Radio shack. I do not let price tags shy me away from a purchase. I use them as a starting point and then I shop, shop ,shop for better.

The S2. I'm still very new at the apps. My wife claims she is in love at first touch. Simple things are much different than my EVO and I will have to adapt. The keyboard is backwards to anything I have ever seen. I've ordered the large chinese batteries from ebay to give them a whirl at a $13 "upgrade" (we'll see how this goes). I'm actually very shocked how well the stock battery holds up. In good service areas+ wifi at home, I am getting over a day out of the stock battery(compare this to 13 hours with my Evo). I pulled my SD card from my Evo for my S2 since they have internal memory and no SD. But they have an SD slot.(S2) In good service areas, the phone is crazy fast. The antenna is sub Evo. If I couldn't get service(or very little) with the Evo, the S2 has no prayer or chance. The S2 enables wifi, 4g etc 100 times faster than my Evo. Power button is on side compared to on top with my Evo. Bypassing front screen requires a full side to side swipe which is awkward. The apps are weird compared to the Evo. Time will tell but I am confident the S2 will be up for the challenge.
