    Minor RI symptoms?

Hello there, i've got myself a snake 2 weeks ago, he's fine and healthy when i got him but this morning when i checked on him, he made a faint (i mean really faint, you have to put him near your ear to hear it) pop sound when he breathes. I know that wheezing/clicking/popping sound is RI symptom, so i checked his mouth and found no mucus or bubbles of the sort. So what's wrong with him? Is it really RI that he got? help please and thank you

And before you advice me to go to a vet, i simply can't bring him to a vet since Herp vets are rare in my country -_-; most vets here treats dogs, cats and such.

I'd keep an eye on it, honestly I'd jump quicker to stuck shed in his nostrils before jumping to an RI...

some times they can make weird sounds and it can be an array of things, some of which are not reasons for concern. Keep an eye on it, check for mucus every day and up the heat just to be safe. cheers

He shed last week, and definitely no popping sound before. Well, i'm just worried if it's RI because i live in a tropic country(temp around 30C and humidity 70%) so i dont use heater, and it rained 2 days in a row yesterday so the humidity shoots up to 80% and temp to 26-27C. And my friend's snake got RI because of the drastic weather change just like that.. or i'm just paranoid xD I'll definitely be keeping an eye on him everyday, Thank you

Even with temps around 30 C additional heat should be provided. You should provide a hot side that is 31.1 C - 33.3 C.

What i mean by around 30C is 30 and above it, sorry if i'm not clear enough. Even the temp right now is 32C, and every morning i took him out to sunbathe in the sun for 5-10 min to get him warm up.

Probably should have given that some thought before you brought him home.

The sound could be stuck shed in the nostrils. It's fairly common.

That's not a very reliable heating system, just sayin'.
