Considering a blood next?

I'm working on a rack for my balls right now, its a 6 41qt tub set up and I'm pretty sure a baby - juvenile blood python would do alright in one of the tubs but I know it wouldnt work for an adult, so I imagine you would need some pretty big tubs to house one of those fatties.:banghead:

My boy is 24 lbs and is doing fine in it

Phew! Holy cow, that's a big ol' snake! Can't wait to someday get one of those when we have the money and a correct set up!

we have a hand full of bloods. you just have to put the time and energy into taming them down. our newer ones are still bitey but i can handle them, as long as i am careful. the 2 year old is as tame as a ball python. you can kiss her on the head wear her around your neck and she never gives any attitude. when we first got the borneos, they were friggen evil... you couldn't come near the tub without them striking the container trying to get at you.. it's not a snake for someone who's afraid to get bit.. but once you calm them down they are awesome animals.

Lol definitely a BIG boy and he doesn't even eat that much considering his size, one retired breeder rat every 10 to 14 days.

I would get one. In my experience bloods are all talk and no show. But like most snakes if your fingers smell like food, then your probably going to get bitten or messing with mom and her eggs. If you want to get one I'd go with a mid to high morph. There aren't any recessive morphs in the brongersmai besides albinism. I'd highly recommend getting a T+ albino to start. They aren't too pricey and colors look amazing with age.

After a death of a beloved BP I left the snake hobby for a couple years. I jumped back into the hobby 4 years ago with a huge adult Brongersmai. NEVER looked back! Lol
