Take him to the vet..I know it's not what you want to hear..but it sounds more like a bad RI than mouth rot..he'll need antibiotic's and good clean enclosure with heat and humidity bumped up..But first take your pet to the vet they both need and deserve it.

Please don't take this as a bash because that is not my intent, but this is a prime example of why you need to hold back some cash for situations like this.
My advice is to take him to a Vet as soon as you can. The quicker you get on top of this situation, the better the chances for correcting it.

I agree with Freakie_Frog. It looks like a Respiratory Infection.
It sounds like it's in an advanced stage too. It most likely won't go away unless you visit a vet. RI can kill snakes if left untreated. When you take him to the vet, get a culture done. This way it'll save you money in the long run by identifying the exact medicine to use. It's better to identify what kind of antibiotic to use than have a vet give Baytril or some other random drug that may not take effect.
In the mean time, bump up your heat to 95.

I can't offer you any advice as I'm new to this myself, but I can tell you that vets will work with you if you can't pay everything up front. After you go to the vet and they have taken your snake (if they need to keep it for a while, that is) _then_ think about money. I'm far from rich myself but I have dropped more money on my pets vet bills than my own (human) kids medical needs. (thank god for insurance!). The trick is not to think about it. Just do. A good vet will work out a payment plan with you if it came down to that.

Well if you do not want to lose another snake I would suggest to take him to a vet if you do not than you will have to prepare to lose this one too.
I know it's not what you want to hear but pet ownership is not easy and whether you own a dog, a cat or a snake sooner or later it will imply vet care and if it's something you can't afford you will face the same problem every time no matter what animal you own.
Animal get sick animal get injured it's something to think of when acquiring a pet, not only the pet itself and the food cost but the ability to provide vet care when needed.

Check out care credit. It's a credit card that can be used at some vets, as well as regular doctors for humans. You can apply online and get darn near instant approval and an account number. Then find a vet that will accept it. Please get your snake to the vet.

I agree it does need a vet. I've seen folks try to use home remedies and there really are none at this point. I know the vet answer was not what you were hoping for. But it cannot be avoided if you dont want to lose this guy.
It also sounds like you've lost one before to an illness so i know you don't want to go through that again.
Unfortunately vets are a part of pet ownership. And when you own an exotic you always need to keep them in mind. I always put away 10-50$ a week in a savings account that I have specifically for vet trips. Exotics vets are more expensive and the best way to avoid them Is to be 200% on top of husbandry. Sometimes accidents happen though and that's why you always need to keep the vet option in the back of your mind. Abos are required at this point or he will not recover. I'm sorry. Good luck.
