Recently I've been on the look out for a female ksb. I'd love to breed my male, he's a lovely deep orange color, and he's not a flame or dodoma morph at all! I keep looking for a similar bright orange/red to compliment him, but all the females I find just aren't bright enough for me.

Well, at the pet store, I found a black and white female labeled as "axanthic." I asked what the difference between axanthic and anery was, and the guy didn't know. :/ So I went home, did some research *cough*google*cough* and learned that axanthic restricts the yellow pigment, anery restricts the red.

Now on doing more research about ksb morphs, everyone mentioned anery, but not axanthic. So is it likely that the guy at the store doesn't know what he's talking about, and the snake is really anery?

And what morphs could I get by breeding axanthic (or anery)? I understand my first cross with my normal will get me het, but what other morphs will other morphs crossed with the black and white produce?

Thanks so much!
