I'm pretty sure if music damaged a snake I'd have plenty of hurt snakes.
It'd be a bit dumb to have the snake too close to a bass speaker, but I have yet to see any issues with them listening to some head banging music now and then.
A few of mine seem to enjoy some system of a down and rage against the machine over metallica or green day.
None of them seem overly happy about my kids playing rap music though
And old metallica is good, just not new, sell out metallica!
