assist pooped my pastel for the second time!!!help

Ok so when I first got my pastel I notice he was very blump in the rear so I gave him a massage and 1 min later pooped on me so today he was plump in the rear again so I soaked him in warm water then massaged him and then he pooped first some white stuff then green then brown will this continue he has water and basking spot of 92 degrees and humidity of 60 percent wat could be wrong

First question, why assist poop your snake? All snakes get sausage butt before pooping, but they all eventually poo on their own. Some may go weeks before actually pass a poop.

Poop should look like .....well... Like poop. But just on a smaller scale. The yellow, white stuff is urates.
It's perfectly normal.

^^^ agree allow them to pass the urates and poop on their own. If you keep doing what your doing the track will become lazy and you will doing this every week. Let them poop themselves.

While I think the OP may be pulling the trigger a little early on making his snake pass waste, they do not all eventually poop on their own. Impaction does occur in snakes, and not only from substrate ingestion, which makes it difficult/impossible for a snake to pass waste and can, in bad cases, lead to death. I've also dealt with a snake a few years ago that for a while was developing super hard urates that could not be passed without assistance, which could have ultimately led to the same result as impaction. So no, they don't all eventually poo on their own.

That's what urates typically are like, they are hard and white.

It doesn't sound like your snake has a problem at all though, so don't keep doing this.

How long have you had your snake for?

As others have pointed out, it's not uncommon for them to get a distinct look of plumpness/ "Sausage butt" (I'm stealing that, by the way) right before pooping. It is also not uncommon for them to go quite some time between bowel movements. Without more info about how long you've had the snake, and how long it's been between movements, it's hard to say for sure that the snake needed to be "assist pooped".

Of course it's not that common, but it does happen. People should know that not all bp's eventually poop on their own. I'd hate for the one person that feels comfortable navigating the site by use of the 'search' feature, happen across this thread because they need advice on a snake that won't poop, and then think all is well when it could possibly not be.

I'm also not incredibly convinced of how rare problems(in general) are that we would consider rare. We just don't hear of problems, because we know of what we hear about on these forums. I'd be willing to bet that most casual snake owners have barely read a care sheet let alone participate in a forum, and though there are no statistics available, I'd also be willing to bet that there are a large number of snakes that die needlessly year after year because of the casual owners I just mentioned.

That being said, impaction is caused mostly by improper temps and humidity, not substrate comsumption... those are 2 things that even people who do participate on forums seem to struggle with at length, so I would not be surprised at all if it is a problem that occurs more often than we would think. I just find it worth mentioning, because it does happen, and snakes incapable of pooping on there own could very well be suffering from it.
