I finally made it from WI to NH on Saturday. I drove straight through and left Friday morning. I took all of my reptiles with me because I'm going to be here for 6 months. Things didn't go as well as they could have and I feel like a really crappy keeper right now, but I had to do what I had to do.

My dad was building me some temporary racks. They are made out of plywood -- none of the snakes can come into direct contact with the wood because they were built to still have the lids on the tubs, I know plywood is toxic for reptiles because of the sap/oil. The downside is he was only able to build the one to hold the 41qt tubs right now. We are going to be building the rest of them Monday and Tuesday after we both finish work.

So the good:
1.) Everyone made it here okay.
2.) My female that was due to lay today didn't lay during transit. I expect she will lay in the next day or two.

The bad:
1.) I only have 4 41qts and 4 28qts setup.
2.) All most all of my ball pythons are in one 41qt tub. I had to put the males in 1 41qt tub, the larger females in 1 41qt, my gravid female in her own tub, and the rest are all in the same 41qt. In the 28qts I have my BCIs in one each, my leos and my fat tail are all in one together and then my hog islands and kenyans are in a tub together. I super worried about the leos/fat tail and the mixed boa species.

I didn't want to leave the snakes in the pillow cases any longer. I feel horrible about having so many younger ball pythons crammed in the same tub together right now too. I'm going to working hard with my dad to get the racks finished. I already have tubs for everyone, I just need the heat tape I ordered to get here and something to put them on. The situation really sucks, but it's only for 3 days. I'm hoping everyone will pull through just fine.
