First shed

My male just had his first shed. I came home from work and found it all tied up but in one piece so everything went well. One question I found the corner of the tub he shed in was very wet as in soaked! The water dish is almost on the opposite side of the tank. Just wondering what may have caused this? I did find a little urate in the same area.

You answered your own question. They often urninate/defecate while shedding.

Was sort of thinking so but just wanted to check thanks. The BP I had years ago never had proper humidity in his glass tank so sheds had always been in pieces. Seeing the full deal is kinda cool eye caps and all.

sometimes a little bit of blood might be present, still a natural thing
