I dont have any intention to actual go but if i hypothetically did go to the toronto show and bought an animal would i legally be able to bring it back to the US? Arent prices more expensive there anyways?

Also it looks like you can buy in canada and then get reptile express to ship them to you.

Shipping costs more money and i think animals tend to be priceier up there already. Not that im saying i would do it but... hypothetically what are the chances that id get caught if i just bought a snake and drove back with it? Do mounties really have time to search every car that comes across te border back into the US? Ive never been to Canada so idk how it works tbh...

mounties?? Those guys are like way up north and to the left lol there are no mounties here. Just border patrol. I dont even think they have guns. I would not at all recommend smuggling animals across the border but they dont search every car its pretty much lets see your passport ok cool go through the gate type deal. Its not like it would be hard to hide a snake in a car anyways. If you were really that desperate. For prices I dont think there is much of a difference. You are not gunna find anything to rare up here either pretty much the same for snakes but there are some rarer reptiles you will find here.
