Yes, boosting is a form of cheating. I try to discourage them from ruining my gaming experience. I had a match going 20 kills, zero deaths, and there were two guys boosting . . . one called in a nuke and completely ruined my legit nuke for that match! If they want to boost, they can get a full group of people who are OK with boosting, get in a lobby together that is still ranked and boost together that way, thath's their own thing, but doing it in a public lobby ruins every match they enter for the other 6-10 players.

Reporting them is just absurd. I'd hate to see how you guys would act on a game where that isn't a feature. Probably a lot of rage quitting. It really isn't cheating if it's a mechanic that's allowed into the game. It'd be easily solvable by setting it up to where certain abilities were only able to be unlocked after a certain amount of time.

But then again, this is activision we're talking about. "Baww. You said a bad word in chat. Ban stick for you!"

Its set up so you can report those people for that reason. Them doing it in their own lobby is fine with me. I don't care if they want to boost and pretend they are actually good at a game when they really aren't. Just so they can tell their friends that they are a 15th prestige after logging 3 days play time. No one is going to believe them anyway. Its a pointless act. If you can't win because you suck then either practice and get better or go play banjo and kazooie or Lego Harry Potter. Obviously first person shooters are not for you...

CoD =/= all FPS true statement, however, CoD > all other FPS ;-), also a true statement.

They do have it made so you can not get tactical insertion till a higher level. However, the one boosting is not the one who needs to the tac insertion, it's going to be the person who is helping you boost. It's not a mechanic of the game, its a loop hole to the leveling system. Again, what they do in their own lobby is fine, but its what they do in public lobbies with people pushing their own abilities that makes it an issue.

CoD is little more than a rehashed game each time it comes out. Isn't a very good sign when there's more CoD games than years the franchise has existed. They're basically just milking the gravy train, as it were.

I think it's pretty funny that people hate on COD. If you don't like it, don't play it. Every new game that comes out, gets a little better each time. They tweak multiplayer a little and have all new maps. The new maps and new feel with each new game is enough to keep me playing. COD is going to be around for a very long time. It does t have to drastically change because it's fun as is.
