FT question
Not sure if anyone knows the answer but I have had a couple of jumbo ASF's in the fridge since saturday (5days).. they went in the fridge straight from the freezer.. should they still be okay?

Personally, I wouldn't chance it after 5 days, but, your mileage may vary.

I'm sure they're fine actually...from being in the freezer straight to the refrigerator would thaw them out very slowly. And assuming your refrigerator is below 41 degrees, there's minimal chance that spoilage has started yet.

After its sitting in my refrigerator for 5 days I know it's way past it's prime. And as a matter of fact I do kill, butcher and freeze my own food.
