Finally!!!! succeed with frozen
Hello everyone.
First I want to introduce myself. This is my first thread here after reading and reading and reading... I would like to thank to everyone here for the invaluable information that is shared. know I'm much more confident in how to take care of my beloved BP.
I got her two week ago. She is 3 years old and 3 feet and half. The old owner told that the tried to feed her with frozen with out succeed. I got her right after sheeding so she was already off eating for a wile. I thought that I would give her a chance and try to switch to frozen (I really don't like to feed with live). The first week I let her settle without taking her out or bothering at all (as is advised here) after a week I tried with live just to keep with the same routing that she use to have. At least for the next 4-5 feeding before try the frozen one, but ... she rejected it so I think She was at least off eating for 3 weeks already. I tried no to worried much and give her one more week.
Yesterday I couldn't wait more (already a month off eating) and thawed a mouse till it was very warm (under a lamp) and start the zomby dance in front of the hide and bang!!! strike, after 5 minutes gone. I gave her two adult mice more and I'll change to rats for next time and let see how it goes.
I'm very very very happy.
thanks again to all
PS: sorry for my English

I'm from Spain but I have been living in California for the last two years and half.
I've been reading a lot lately about BP, RTB and corns. I have one of each. Back in Spain having a snake is ridiculously expensive and here you can get them for free including the tank and all the set up. That is just AWESOME!!!. Now I'm thinking in getting a bearded dragon that my wife and kids are dying for.

Congrats. Sounds like things are going well! Don't worry about your English- Its way better than a lot of posts you will read. Keep up the good work and give in on the Bearded dragon! They are awesome. Some are really mellow and content to be loved on- some are not so keen- just make sure you take your time picking out a good one
