    Closed side rack high humidity

Recently purchased a AP rack the 1860/1960 sterilite. I started with a few holes, then more & more. They are sitting at 71-85% humidity with the holes. Question is what's the best location for the holes? I have a lot in the front, some on each side & the back. Being enclosed I don't see the sides & back helping all that much in air flow. I have approx 20 holes on each side.

I was thinking of drilling out the holes in front to make them bigger. I've just been using a soldering iron so they are fairly small. I do have a ceiling fan running 24/7 as well. There is no condensation building up so I assume its safe at these levels.

More holes in the front, you are correct that the holes on the sides and back aren't doing much good.

You can also put a smaller water dish in and/or use a different substrate that doesn't hold onto as much moisture.

Thanks! I am using paper towels, so not sure what would be better than that? I have 6" bowls now, was thinking of getting 4". I will put more holes in the front & see how that goes first.

    Thanks again
