I had a tank that size for a snake that size. I made sure she had plenty of places to hide and she was fine. I have since moved to a tub system since the humidity in my tank was garbage.

I agree the humidity is very hard to keep up but I keep a wet towel over three quarters the top and spray his tank when I wake up and in the evening, it stays around 40 and 65. Iv thought about the tubs too but I like the glass enclosure way to much so I did all I could to keep the humidity up and it's working

As long as you can keep it up, I say rock the tank. I live in a basement and was doing ok for a while, then I noticed her eye dents. Got her in a tub after that since I was sick of the battle. More power to you if you can rock it.

It shouldn't be too big as long as it has lots of hiding spaces. I have the same thing for my carpet and there is a LOT of floor space. I would say 4 - 6 small or medium hides would be good until she gets a little bigger. Just keep removing/replacing hides to accommodate her as she grows and you should be okay.
