No feces for quite awhile now?

My two females both have seemed to stop producing stools. its been around 3 weeks, give or take a few days. they are still accepting food and look and seem fine.

my male in same rack is still producing stools.

they are around 7 too 8 months old, male is siting at 474Grams and one of the females is 568grams.

should I be worried about anything, or can they go awhile without digesting and excreting there food.

Some will only poop after they shed. Nothing to be worried about yet.

They go when they go. Cases of constipation are rare in ball pythons.

Hi , I have the same concern , 10 month old female 700gms , pooped after shed about 3 weeks ago , hasn't pooped since , and has eaten 3 f/t rats , I think she's just saving up to give me an extra special one !! Lol

My 8mo Pied girl can go 3-4 weeks sometimes between stools prefectly normal
Lately she has been holding it until she sheds

I think that's what they do too.
That and fast to give us early gray hair.

Give the enclosure a thorough cleaning, scrub hides, wash water bowl, new substrate, etc. That usually makes mine go...

snakes when they are constipated get an really odd lumpy look and often seem bloated and airy it is not normal at all and as far as I know always very odd looking.

I have had one become constipated (X-rays determined) in my case it was from a very large amount of substrate ingestion (cyprus mulch) she has one eye and horrible aim and got a full mouth full and decided to swallow it before and during my attempts to extract it. Rare and usually due to some very odd event.

The xray is cool however.

Clean the enclosure, they always feel the need to take a dump after you spend the time to clean everything good!

LOL..... All my boas and ball python do this kind of cruel tricks on me. They always poop and pee the day after cleaning. Some times, they did their deeds a few hours after cleaning their tubs.
