Flexibility is one of the keys to a happy life.Yeah, it's frustrating, but things are a lot less stressful if you learn to take stuff like that in stride.
You don't have to cancel celebrating her birthday, just because you can't match up the celebration with an exact day on the calendar. It's not about the date...it's about HER and your joy that she was born at all.
20+ years in the military, and I've learned that except for departures on deployment and returns home, dates on the calendar mean very little. It's about the people.
