    Re: Low Quality Black Pastel?

I would still jump on it and say that's a normal. Nothing about that snake says black pastel.

    http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...-Black-Pastels

Black pastels are more deeper in color like a deep bronzeish.
Black pastels have 'squiggles' around their alien heads.
'connected alien heads' isn't a black pastel trait so much,They have a single dot alien heads or floating alien heads, sure they may be connected into enlongated blotches, but your snakes pattern is normal for the most part.
Your snake also lacks a decent amount of flames on its body.

Granted every single black pastel may not show all the traits at the same time, one could still usually distinguish a black pastel from a normal based on color alone.
I could see your snake being mistaken for a 'Het Red axanthic' before somebody thinks its a black pastel, and thats only cause of the black back it seems to have.
