My BP's shed problem, help?

My BP, Palmer is a beautiful 6 month old female, and she's been great!! Eats, sheds and handles great, but on her last shed a bit of skin was left on the top of her head. I've humidified the enclosure a few really good times, and I'd like to help her but despite her handleable nature, she doesn't like to be touched on the head just yet..She eats and seems perfectly healthy, but I can't help but want to get that last bit of shed off so she can fully shimmer on her head again. What can I do?

I'd probably just leave it till next time. Seems like if you wait too long after they shed it doesn't want to come off as well.

What you can do next time if you notice a bit of stuck...is get a snake bag or pillowcase (the lower thread count the better) and get it wet with warmish water (lukewarm). Then wring it out so it doesn't drip. Put your snake in the bag and tie it closed then set the bag on the warm side of their enclosure. Leave for about an hour. Usually the moisture and warmth combined with the snake moving around inside the bag will work off a lot of stuck shed.

Be very careful with wet cloth, as mentioned, an open weave!! Close weaves (high thread counts) can close and become quite air tight when wet. I don't bother personally, but if I was to do so I would use a scallop bag instead. They are very course unprocessed cotton you can look see through it as it is so course a weave it has as much open air as thread.

I use the tupperware method with some warm water and a hand towel

fill the container with enough tepid warm water to reach your snakes sides with the wet hand towel then let your snake run through the towel

after about 10 to 15 minutes there is no more stuck shed
