You won't see megalacolon usually until they start weaning and eating and drinking in their own. You will notice it though if it should happen. It's truely gruesome on them and they die a nasty death if not immediately euthanized. I've had my fair share bc I learned about that through experience. I had to feed off a whole litter at 3-4 weeks bc they all blimped up like balloons. Trust me if you can avoid it do so.
