Without pics no one can tell you if it's a Spotnose or not...

Since I wasn't sure about posting pics sent to me from a breeder I was just trying to get as much info as I could and put a conclusion together myself.

Spotnose heads remind me of carpet python heads. They aren't just a simple light or dark spot on the head, but a more detailed pattern.
One thing that I feel is kind of difficult to explain about a spotnose, is that the body pattern reminds me a lot of a spider. Before anybody jumps on me for saying it looks like a spider, I don't think they are the same in the slightest, but the reduced patterning and the way the back markings connect has a similar feel to a spider, and especially seeing them in person, I always feel like they are going to have a head wobble. They never do, but something about the overall head stamp and pattern together does this to me (clowns with their wonky head stamps do the same thing).

Re: Spotnose
I agree with a lot of the above, particularly the bit about the head pattern being reminiscent of a carpet python. I have often wondered what it was that my spotnose reminded me of and now I have it! also agree re the 'booger' spots, I have both normals and morphs with these; they are not an indication of a spotnose. They are high contrast animals and quite bright, something along the lines of a nice genetic granite, and have interesting patterns on the body but mainly the head markings identify them immediately.
