    Ghost vs Hypo

    Is a ghost compatible with a hypo? I have a ghost and bought a couple het hypo females. I just want to make sure they are captable or if I need to go buy a ghost female and a hypo male?

    They are the same thing. Ghost is an older name, however people were concerned that others would confuse the name with Ghost cornsnakes which are actually a combination mutation of anerythristic and hypomelanistic. Most people started calling them Hypo's which is short for hypomelanistic which is the scientifically correct term for the phenotype.

    Most but not all hypos are compatible.

    They are the same thing however there are different lines and while most are compatible some are not.
