So on top of my snake not using either of his hides that last two days, while looking at him through his cage today I noticed that one of his eyes looks dented? I'm not sure if it was just a play of light, and because he seems a bit cranky I don't want to try and pull him out to get a closer look. As mentioned in another post he does have a tiny fleck of skin still on his nose (I got him from a Petsmart and they weren't sure when his last shed was). I've read about bad sheds on here and retained eye caps, but I'm not sure if this is the case here? Even if it were I don't know that I feel comfortable handling it myself since I'm a first time snake owner. Should I just take him to the vet to see if they can help/walk me through it?
