    Talking Bloody bite pic... yeah baby!

    As the owner of nearly 30 snakes, I've been tagged many many times. But this was a GOOD one, so of course I had to share some pics.

    Bite was courtesy of James the Stimsons Python, who is usually the most gentle snake in my collection - just ask his original owner Skiploder, who will probably be shocked to see what he did. Anyway, it was totally my fault... 6 days past his usual feeding schedule (he got fed shortly after this bite), he was sticking his head out of the hide like "where's dinner?" and I reached in to grab a poop nugget laying next to his head. I'm just so used to him being a sweetie, it didn't even occur to me that was a bad idea. D'oh!! The results:







    After cleaning off the blood... doesn't look so bad, but it's still hurting right now!!
