    Pastel? YB? lemon?

I bought him as a YellowBelly Pastel from Adam Wysoki (8ballpythons) around 4 years ago. ive read he isnt that reputable. The snake on the other hand has been great (very tame, never struck, eats wonderfully) so i dont regret the purchase. I had intent to buy a female and breed but times have changed and im looking at re-homing him and focusing on my Kenyan Sand Boas.

Ive taken him to NARBC and reptile super show... people have mentioned he looks like a black pastel...ive heard lemon pastel cross...ive heard normal pastel.. so idk.
I dont think he looks like a normal (ive had like 15 normals at once...)

pictures: (i think hes goin into shed..and he wasnt very photogenic)

First off, Adam Wysoki was a well respected breeder for the entire time he was in the business. Toward the end, he had some less than respectable business dealings, but that does not change the fact that he produced some amazing animals.

Secondly, I'm pretty positive what you have there is a Pastel. The reason I'm fairly certain is because I'm pretty sure I bought his brother for my Ex GF, who still has him in her collection. I'm certain I've seen that snake in person when I purchased mine from Adam. I almost chose your guy because of that long tail stripe. I was eventually over ruled by my GF.

Anyway, if that is the same snake I saw at Adam's place in 2008, then it's certainly a Pastel because the paring that produced it was a Pastel x Spider. The clutch had two Pastels, a couple of Normals, and one Bumble Bee.

If any of this rings a bell, then I know that snake, and it's brother

I agree he looks like a browned pastel. Does he have green eyes?

Really nice pastel for sure. I don't see the yellow belly, but some are very subtle. I have snakes from Adam as well, and he was a great guy until tragedy stuck his family.

I wish! A month or so ago I was looking at some pics we took on the trip to MD when we picked him up. I was over at my Ex's place and we were walking down memory lane. Soooo, my memory of that is a little fresher than it normaly would be.

I need to email her and have her send me some of those photos. That would put this whole thing to rest pretty quick!
