I am up way too late tonight, and right before going to sleep, this thread caught my attention XD...

Reptilia, I want you to know that I'm not close to being skinny, i stutter when talking to cute girls, AND i smile too much when talking to em! However, I've had some gorgeous girlfriends, and am currently unofficially with someone

I rant way too often about snake genetics.. I show her pictures of awesome morphs and explain why they look how they do XD... When I start explaining why I'm excited for a project I'm going for, she says its cute XD...

You don't need to look like ryan gosling, or talk like ryan reynolds to get the girls! Just be honest to yourself and her, be interested in what she has to say, and try not to think about what she's thinking ! You really have to love yourself first! Do that and they'll start to see what you see inside! Takes patience !

If i were you i would either lose your mom when you go places or lose your embarassment of her tagging along with you. I pretty much have no shame anymore, lost all of it at parties in highschool lmao *sigh*, so i have no problem talking to anyone about anything in front of my mom lol. Or just say you wanna walk around seperately or go w/out her to one. If you explain why she'll probably be very understanding!

Try being a girl looking for another girl that likes reptiles AND video games AND other pets AND that can handle severe outbreaks of nerdiness. Talk about hard. Most girls are fine with me until I start talking about my snakes. (Oh the irony... ) I just found out last week that my genetics lab TA is a major herper AND kind of a genius. (And she's cute!) Too bad she likes boys. Just my luck eh? Haha.

Luckily, I did meet one girl who likes girls AND ball pythons. She's not a huge fan of my interest in expanding my collection, nor was she a big fan of my boas and crestie, but she tolerates it. Our very first bonding point was that we both had BPs! Lol. Still can't get her to go to expos or to talk science with me, but nobody is perfect. I never thought I'd find a girl like her, but we've been engaged for over a year now.

The point of this tirade was to say...you'll find someone for you, probably when you least expect it, but she's out there.

Difficult finding a guy OR a girl, I know this! Just so happens there are no geeky, snake loving, xbox playing, metal music loving, prone-to-bursts-of-randomness girls in my town or around!! So just as well I stumbled on the guy equivalent who looks slightly like Jeremy McKinnon from ADTR and all I needed to do was work out the reptile kink

and to the OP - I'm sure your mum will understand if you explain to her I'm awful at talking to guys....nervous, stuttery, and I have this horrific laugh I do after I'm done blabbering non stop that I feel to literally hit myself when i'm finished

Try being a guy in a girl's body looking for both gender reassignment AND another guy who likes animals (including snakes/monitors... and dogs/cats/ferrets...), videogames, AND starving artists I've actually found some guys who are interested in my interests that are kinda cute... too bad they like girls.

I actually have had some boyfriends who were chill about my interests, but couldn't bother waiting for my gender to match up. Ah, boys, what shall I do
