I've had first year females lay 6 -8 clutches so it's 100% normal for multiple clutches.

Re: Umm... What?
How much are the eggs supoosed to grow? Noticeably? We have our first eggs, I would have to go check but they are near 30 days old. They still look good, but I don't think they have grown.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

They tend to grow the most a few weeks before hatching. I've already had 4 clutches out of one of my first year girls, though only this last clutch is fertile. Good luck on your eggs

Now Scorcho has had her second clutch, and Rainne is obviously gravid again, so I guess it's not all that uncommon. Rainne was so worth ripping the fireplace out

So anybody got pictures of Leo eggs right before they hatch for a size visual? We never candled the eggs, we caught them cleaning up their "business" and figured we were good to go. Been about 45 days now, shouldn't we be hatching soon? Also, I worried that I rolled the eggs when I found them in the dirt, not humid lay box. So maybe I am incubating bum eggs?
