    I've had similar incidents over the past several years, typically an over-eager animal during feeding getting "dazed" missing it's prey. As others indicate, he/she will bounce back in a matter of days, Pythons are incredibly resilient. Your call, but would strong suggest save your $$$, vet visit is a complete waste. Either way, best of luck and hope things work out ...
