When will my baby bp poop???? LLL

I have had my baby pastel ball python for 3 weeks to the day and we have fed him 3 times. he has great personality.. he his in the mits of his first shed as we speak.. I pick him up once a day or every other day.. even when his eyes are clouded up he dosent mind and he acts calm and collected...

Maybe someone from LLL reptile can tell when his last BM was.. Hence LLL at the title lol

Yea, my BPs will crap maybe once every two weeks depending on growth rate. I am also willing to bet you will get plenty when the shed finally happens.

He's fine. He's cooking up a nice gift for ya. As RetiredJedi said, a pile of poop will most likely come with the next piece freshly shed skin.

I went in to check on Aradia and she'd laid down a poop before she was even really in blue. Silly girl, you're supposed to wait until after! (But man does it stink! You won't miss it when it happens!)

I have one juvie who holds it until after shed is she can and boy howdy is it a smelly nasty mess Yours is fine if he isnt pooping he is using all the rodent you are feeding and growing. Some day soon you will look back at this and wish you BP pooped a little less like he used to

They poop when they need to poop...usually not before, and very seldom after...almost always right on time.

I am curious why you're asking LLL when your snake last pooped? Did you purchase your BP from LLL?

im pretty sure your snake will poop when:

A. The night AFTER you clean your tank or
B. The night you have to wake up super early and need to sleep

At least that is how mine works LOL

Yes i purchased my pastel from LLL. I was just wondering if they would chime in on his feeding schedule and if they had any notes on when he pooped last... But oh well. He did finally go..

Now time to clean up.. thank you everyone for keeping me calm and informed..
