Not all females are bigger than males when adults. Some people have full grown females that are only 1200-1300 grams. They still are solid breeders though, even at that weight. Theyll never really get much bigger than that bc its genetic. Similar to how there are sub-saharan giants which can get to 5kg+.
As for growth rates between sexes i havent really noticed a difference. I have heard cases of people believing adult size and growth rates to be genetic. Like; mom put on weight fast and is a 3kgram female; therefore, her babies grow fast and get big too. Idk if thats true but ive heard people say that before.
