He's the perfect addition!! I'm in love...

I have to say, I am in love with my new boa! I am glad we decided to get one. He is kinda like a cross between a bp and corn. Mellow, and curious, but not crazy busy. Highly recommend them to anyone considering a boa. (Dang phone, hit submit on accident).

Awww! He's a little bitty thing. So cute. My BCI is my favorite. Lol. Their personalities are amazing aren't they? She's the only snake I have that loves going just about anywhere and doesn't get stressed about it. Congrats on your new baby!

I'm new to Boa's also and am enjoying my new girl. She is soooo different from the bp's and tends to get more of my attention because she is soooo spirited.

Congrats on your new baby and enjoy him.

I am just amazed at how different all the snake personalites are. Corns are crazy busy, won't hold still. Our corn doesn't even hang on, she would fall if you weren't hanging on. The balls are very chill, just kinda hang out, explore a little. This little boa (yes he's a little guy, they said 4 weeks old) is so neat. He hangs on with his tail, but explores all over. He seems really fascinated with my hair and face. He has to get right up in it. His temperment seems great, very friendly, curious, not the least bit jumpy. We have been interested in boas, but were concerned about housing size for a big boa. After some research, we decided a male bci would be about right. . Anywhoo, I just love him!

    Congrats!
Boas are great pet snakes. Most snake keepers that don't have one just don't like that they can get pretty big.
