    Yes I guess it was a bit harsh, but I feel that for any pet, reptiles more so than others it seems, the care taker should take some time to figure out what they need to do BEFORE they get they animal so that they can judge if they are going to be able to properly care for it and provide it with an environment very similar to it's own. In this case the person bought the animal with very little prior knowledge on taking care of a bp. Sure they're trying hard now which is good, but you should always be prepared and responsible for any animal you purchase.
