    That is horrible and looks extremely painful.
    It does look like the live eye cap membrane could have been removed. I always say, don't mess with the eyes even with a bad shed and retained caps... The caps will usually always come off during the next shed anyway....

    If she can't afford a vet visit, she shouldn't own an animal... They're like kids. Parents will take an ill child to a doctor....Pets are no different. That is horrible... You should tell her and maybe she'll grow up a little.

    I would advise to keep the snakes' eyes moist and to prevent it from drying out since they can't blink and there's no eye cap (assuming) left. I'm not sure how, but I bet a more experienced member will chime in... (maybe some non pain relief neosporin? I know you can do this to mammal eyes...not sure about snakes)
