not too shabby! I like that allot! very innovative. I have the sort of the same setup but your idea seems more echo friendly recycling and all I used silicone to seal the dividers and i never thought of using the tub lids i used this plastic board form home depo ill have have to use my tub lids when i expand more and the metal wire would work allot better than silicone.

Yea it isn't very pretty. The dremel melts the plastic a little when I am cutting so it leaves it a little ragged. The snakes can't get to any pointed or rough edges though and it seems to be working out.

I keep one lid per snake. It's part of my emergency hurricane evac plan....
Pull out tub / Throw in heat pack / Snap on lid / Leave for high ground.

I no longer even get them, when I buy tubs I only get the tubs and leave the lids at the store since I do not have any use for them and would dispose of them anyway.

We would use them as food trays for thawing rodents. But that is only five of them, maybe ten. The other few thousand? Storage. Ugh.
But the post above was right, when that time comes and you have to move/evacuate/skiddaddle, you are REALLY going to want those lids!
