Photoshoot at a friends - Venomous & Others

Ok, so I've been writing an article on hybrid herps (in nature and in the hobby) and have been querying extensively about hybrid photos - or even the chance to go and photograph the herps myself. Jerry, owns a snake presentation business here in NY - known as Snakeman's Snake Shows (http://www.jerrythesnakeman.com/). Anyways, Jerry was kind enough to let me come over (about an hour drive) and photograph the hybrids he has - a jungle corn and a couple Southern x Northern copperheads - as well as photograph anything else I requested to be taken out of it's cage... Jerry was extremely accommodating and just awesome overall!

So enough backstory, here are some of the shots I thought were the best out of the ones worth keeping. I know what most, if not all, of them are - so feel free to ask. Such an impressive and varied collection!

Quite possibly my new favorite snake in the world - love this one and it's sinister smile

    Totally underrated and very cool

    Here's lookin' at you kid

    Oh and of course ATBs

My new favorite ATB, produced by Billy

Ok, I have to ask what a few of these are. Not too versed in venemous plus you mentioned some were hybrids so I wasn't sure what I was looking at. But they are so cool and amazing, I have to know! Plus, you know I like to know everything, lol....

    So what are the following???

These two are puzzling, but I'm guessing the 2nd animal is a false water cobra - am I right??

And the yellow on this animal is just plain amazing!
All in all, these are just fantastic animals and you are an incredible photographer! I love looking at your pictures! Thanks so much for sharing them - it's quite the educational experience!

Thank you so much everyone! I appreciate the comments as always!

Dracoluna - I shoot with a Nikon D700, Sb 400 speedlight, and all the shots were taken with a Nikon 105 mm Macro lens handheld.

Kali - the snakes in those photos are the following
    1) Sharp Nosed Viper or Hundred Pacer (Deinagkistrodon acutus)
    2) Water Moccasin (Agkistrodon piscivorus)
    3) False Water Cobra (Hydrodynastes gigas) - Good guess by the way
    4) Mangrove Snake (Boiga dendrophila) - a full body shot would have given away the identity immediately

He (Jerry) had quite the awesome collection, and aside from one really pissed off rattler they were all pretty amicable

Thank you!! I thought that was a Mangrove snake but I wasn't confident enough to make a guess on him. I suppose I should've!

FWC's are on my wish list! Might have to add Mangroves too....
