    New IJ Jag!

Continuing in my recent Morelia obsession, and building a line of future strong breeders, I have made the choice to branch into the Irian Jaya side of things. ACReptiles was a founder for the US in showcasing the possibility of selecting breeding in IJ Jags, and with continued efforts over the last 6 years, there are now very strong lines of 75 and 87.5% IJ jags out there. Join me in welcoming the newest member of my team, Joy, she is a 75% IJ Jag (Currently in deep shed - new pictures will come in a week or so). Her Mom was a first generation Irian Jaya Jag bred from a Pure Jag Coastal, and a Pure IJ. She was then bred to another unrelated pure IJ Carpet which produced my 75% IJ Jag. She will be bred in a couple years to a 100% Irian Jaya Carpet in hopes of producing some stunning examples of the 87.5% IJ Jags!

    Cheers

Working on it! Punk is taking her sweet time to shed :-) May pull my coastal jag back out for some new shots though, she's growing and shedding like crazy. Absolutely stunning.

Ok, here we go. She shed last night, and I was able to get her on the perch a few moments ago!

Male Irian Jaya, Bredli, or Centralian would be the only ones comfortable in that size
