Is this behavior normal?

So I'm breeding my buddies pastel to my pinstipe. I've had her since Feb 27th. Before I got her she last ate on the 18th. Since I've had her she has only eaten 2 mice on the same day, the 22nd of March. She has been bred a total of 7 times. March 1-2, 15, 17, 23-24, 19-31, April 1 and 7. She shed once on the 19th of March. She will kinda bowl wrap but only a little bit and never her whole body. Her rear third looks slightly bigger at times but nothing like she ate a coke can. She has lost 72 grams over this time and her rear third is always hard. Any thoughts on if this is normal or if I just got a difficult one?

Sounds pretty normal to me!

Not uncommon for them to take a few months to end up building follicles and then ovulating. Also pretty common for them not to eat during breeding season, which is why it is so important for them to be at a good weight prior to attempting breeding. How much did she weigh before you started trying to breed her? For a big, well established female, 72 grams is nothin!

Relax, keep trying, and give it some time. I wouldn't worry much unless she loses enough weight to look noticeably thinner.

She was at 1452 when I got her. She has stayed the same as far as looks and firmness.

Then nope, I wouldn't worry. That's a little on the small side, but as long as she continues to seem healthy and normal otherwise, sounds fine.
