Normal humidity is 40% or so. I introduce a humid hide when the snake acts like it's going into shed or is due on the calendar or turns pink on the belly at all. I've had perfect sheds every time using this method.

I just spotted my bee in his humid hide as I saw him pink the other day and gave the hide. He's in there right now lying totally belly up except his neck and head, still in deep pink. Is there reason to be concerned? Never seen them do that and it's a little scary to see the snake flipped upside down...
